Smartlipo, also known as laser liposuction or laser lipolysis, is the newest development in liposuction technology for getting rid of unwanted fat. The concept of using laser energy to literally melt fat makes an otherwise traumatic procedure a little more ‘gentler’, but allowing the heat to replace some of the ‘elbow grease’ used in the past. Patients definitely do report less pain and bruising after a Smartlipo procedure.
Smartlipo is often advertised as being capable of being done under local anesthesia and this, for many patients, is an additional attraction point. But it is important to remember that one of the primary goals of any surgical procedure is…comfort first and foremost. Not only from the experience of the patient’s perspective but also in allowing the plastic surgeon to perform the procedure as completely and thoroughly as possible so the patient can get the best result. There is a delicate balance between these goals and you never want to compromise results exclusively because of comfort…unless that a decision that the patient has made.
Small fat areas can definitely be done with Smartlipo under local anesthesia. I like to think of each treated area as a region. Two and sometimes three regions can be done under local anesthesia if they are not too large. But never more than three and I usually prefer only two regions. More than three regions, or any region if it is large, should be done under IV sedation or general anesthesia. It is simply a matter of comfort and being able to get off as much fat as is possible. Examples of areas that can be comfortably done under local anesthesia would include the lower abdomen, bilateral flanks and hips, the neck, the outer thighs, small inner thigh regions, and the knees….provided they were done in isolation, keeping to the two region rule.
Another practical reason for this approach is to consider the cost of the procedure. While using an anesthesiologist is an expense, liposuction can be done faster when the patient is asleep and the issue of comfort is removed from consideration. While more than three regions can be done under local anesthesia, it takes at least twice or three times as long and one must consider the expense of using the operating room or the doctor’s procedure facility. While cost varies greatly around the country, you may not be saving money by doing a procedure under local anesthesia that takes considerably More in less time under general anesthesia can be.
He plans to work with local anesthesia and a flat section, a lot is another option that will do it gradually. Divide the task into several smaller tasks. Oil issues, or do everything in between setting under general anesthesia.

Most people skip over the fact that any type of surgery is invasive, including plastic surgery. If invasive surgery concerns you, there are non-invasive options to lipo.
Non-Invasive Options to Lipo
Plastic surgery has become very popular in the last 30 years or so, and more and more you see items in the news and specials on TV regarding the benefits of having cosmetic surgery done. One of the most popular surgeries performed by plastic surgeons is liposuction, which removes unwanted fat from areas of your body. You might be tempted by what seems to be an easy way to lose weight, but there are options available to you.
Two of the most important options are dieting and exercise. No doubt that statement just met with a groan, but it should not. You should try eating right and using targeted exercise to rid yourself of your problem areas. The human body does not have the ability to rid itself of fat selectively, but the overall impact of exercise and diet on your body can be seen fairly quickly. Diet will also help to create an atmosphere within your body that is conducive to losing weight, and therefore, losing fat. Muscle gain, in particular, will speed up your metabolism, which burns more calories through the day.
Diet pills, which hope to promote your body’s own weight loss abilities can be effective in some cases as well. It’s important to note, however, that drugs with “lipo” in the name will not work on targeted areas the way that the procedure does. Remember, many solutions on the market have not been approved by the FDA.
Other options include spa treatments such as seaweed wraps and “cellulite massages”, which promise to help break up fat cells and remove them from your body. Unfortunately, most of these techniques are not proven to work, and if they do show some ability to make your body look better, it is short-lived. Doctors are also working on a theory that ultrasound waves can break up the fat cells under your skin, and then your body will be able to reabsorb the cells within three weeks. Doctors who are working with the ultrasound option believe that they will be far less damaging to the tissues in the body than invasive procedures. This, obviously, would represent a medical revolution and be very popular with many of us.
Many people pay lip service to the fact that any surgical procedure, including liposuction, is invasive. You should seriously consider the fact that any The surgery carries risks. If you scare a diet and exercise is probably the route.

You are very lucky if you have waited until now to consider having liposuction, or liposculpture body contouring. The new laser liposuction techniques are a vast improvement over traditional methods. The new laser technology melts fat and tightens skin resulting in a much gentler liposculpture procedure and minimal loose hanging skin after liposuction.
Whether you have a double chin, tummy fat after childbirth, saddle bags, spare tire, or just little problem areas around the hips or thighs, the new laser assisted liposculpture and laser body contouring techniques may be what you are looking for.
Not all of the machines in use are the same. Some laser wavelengths, such as the 924nm and 924/975nm work much better than others. You need to understand which technology is best if you are considering laser liposuction.
Liposuction is the most commonly performed plastic surgery operation.
Problems Associated with Traditional Liposuction-Traditional liposuction is done by inserting a metal tube called a cannula beneath the skin into fat containing areas of the body. High pressure suction is applied and fat is suctioned out from under the skin. While the procedure works well, it is traumatic as the suction pulls out not only fat but also some of the connective tissue which holds the skin tight to the body. There are several problems which can occur after liposuction:
o Loose Skin After Liposuction
o Contour Deformities-Skin Irregularities
o Prolonged Bruising
o Difficult and Painful Recovery
How Laser Liposuction Works-During laser assisted liposuction, a very small laser fiber is inserted beneath the skin. Heat from the laser melts the fat into a thin liquid. The liquid fat is then more easily removed with very small cannulas usually only2-3 millimeters in diameter. The heat from the laser also tightens the skin, and closes many blood vessels, thus less bleeding.
Advantages of Laser Liposuction
o Skin Tightening!!!!!!!
o Liquefaction of Fat = Fewer Contour Deformities
o Uniform Skin Appearance after Liposuction
o Smaller Cannulae = Tiny Incision
o Much Less Traumatic
o Can Contour Visible Areas in Thinner Patients
o Excellent for Touch Ups after Standard liposuction
What about laser liposuction is the best?
Integration with 924/975nm 924nm 1308nm and the other a wave machine and many other popular laser 1064 -.
Prefer a combination of laser and 924nm 924nm 924/975nm absorbed by the adipose tissue because I'm very selective. Some of the other wavelengths of 924nm, and the province, while more than three times as floatsstrongly absorbed by blood vessels, which helps reduce bleeding and bruising.
Are You A Candidate for Laser Liposuction?
If you are healthy, do not smoke, and have extra fat beneath your chin, around your tummy, on your hips, thighs, arms or knees, and are relatively fit and not obese, then you are likely an excellent candidate for laser liposuction. The younger you are the better your skin tightening will be after laser liposuction. I have, however, seen good skin tightening after laser liposuction in a 70 year old person.
If you are obese and significantly over weight, you should lose weight first before liposuction.
If you are considering laser liposuction you really need to know the facts and understand the technology. Once you do the advantages of the new 924nm and 924/975nm based laser liposuction technology are obvious-there is nothing else like it on the market.

Not everyone is blessed with smooth skin. Some individuals will go through life suffering excess or unwanted hair on their legs, chest, arms, facial area and other parts of the body. Unwanted hair may have caused your social life to deteriorate. You may be among those who are embarrassed to wear shorts or bikinis because you have excess hair. Plastic surgeons like those from Harley Street cosmetic surgery clinic and laser hair removal clinics are here to solve your problems.
It is common like treating a cold. Laser hair removal by London Harley Street plastic surgeons can provide you with the best and affordable laser hair removal treatments, regardless of your age or nationality.
When you undergo laser hair removal treatment, a laser device that produces high-energy light which emits a wavelength targets the melanin pigment contained within your hair shaft long enough to heat up your hair but not too long to damage the surrounding skin. If you have darker skin, it would be more difficult to avoid injury and because of this, three types of lasers were developed.
Laser treatments could be from three to seven sessions with an interval of four to eight weeks interval. Maintenance treatment is also required after the procedure to completely stop hair growth in the area. The interval for the maintenance treatments may keep on increasing in intervals until you will no longer need them but treatments vary from one person to another.
Laser lipolysis or laser lipo, also known as body contouring or sculpting is another excess fat removal treatment especially if you have fat tissues that refuse to budge despite dieting and regular exercise. In laser lipo, you will undergo a body sculpting procedure using a diode laser which heats and breaks down the targeted fat cells in your body. The fat deposits will then be absorbed and expelled in your body’s natural processes. Only a local anesthesia is required for a laser lipolysis procedure so you can go home right after a procedure.
Laser lipo has become a very practical choice for a lot of men and women who wants to achieve a well-toned body minus all the dangling fats. Try finding a plastic surgeon from Harley Street cosmetic surgery clinics or other laser hair removal clinics to see if you qualify to undergo laser

Laser assisted liposuction (LAL, also known as laser lipectomy) is a growing surgical procedure. It is one of the more recently developed forms of liposuction, having first been approved by the FDA in 2006. Before coming to America, laser lipectomy was developed and popularized in Europe and Asia. Since its introduction inside the United States, LAL has grown in popularity among Americans.
Laser lipectomy uses a surgical laser to assist in the removal of fat. A surgeon uses the laser to break up the fat before the fat is suctioned out. This makes it easier for the surgeon and easier on the patient. The surgical lasers used in laser liposuction can specifically target certain sorts of tissues. This means that the laser can shine through skin and other tissues without affecting them, while still making the removal of fat simpler and easier.
A number of different companies inside the United States have developed different lasers to assist in LAL. Some of the more common include SmartLipo, ProLipo, CoolLipo, LipoLite, and LipoTherme. Surgery varies somewhat depending on which laser is used. The different lasers use slightly different technology; among other things, the lasers vary in intensity and frequency. However, the principles underlying all of these different forms of laser liposuction are the same.
Research has noted a number of benefits to choosing laser assisted liposuction over traditional lipoplasty techniques. Because surgical lasers melt fat rather than just scraping it loose, laser lipectomy tends to be much less intrusive than traditional methods. LAL’s lasers also help it to be more gentle in additional ways: all forms of liposuction use hollow, blunt tubes called cannulas to suction away excess fat, but the cannulas used in laser liposuction are frequently much smaller than traditional cannulas. Smaller cannulas means smaller incisions and less wear and tear on the body.
Due in part to this LAL is often easier to recover from than traditional liposuction. Patients can frequently be back on their feet in just a day or two, and they often experience less pain and bruising.
One final advantage of laser liposuction is that research has shown that some lasers can help to produce collagen and tighten skin in the target area. For some people this can be very helpful, as one of the common problems associated with liposuction is excess or loose skin.
However, laser liposuction is not without disadvantages. For one thing, it does tend to be more expensive than traditional liposuction. Although it varies from doctor to doctor, LAL does utilize more advanced technology than traditional methods, and it does tend to be substantially more expensive. Some people find, though, that the extra money spent is well worth it.
One further disadvantage to laser lipectomy is that it tends to be better for smaller areas. While this makes it great for targeting areas that require a more delicate touch such as the area surrounding the face, it does make it make it worse at removing large quantities of fat.
If you’d like to know more about LAL and liposuction in general, please consider meeting with a surgeon in your area for a free consultation. Your doctor can help you to know whether or not you would be a good fit for liposuction, and Opposition.

Smart Lipo is the most contemporary laser treatment used by patients to get rid of excessive fat. The discovery of this procedure was made in Europe and has gained popularity in Asia, and South America. Laser is used to dissolve fat in the body and tighten the skin around areas of interest. No anesthetic is required to carry out this procedure. It is important to note that removal of excessive fat in this procedure is semi-permanent.
Procedure
This procedure can be done in a clinic or office. The areas with fat deposits are marked and local anesthesia applied to make the parts numb. A laser pen is fired near the skin; this caused the fat cells to disintegrate. A fluid is released into the lymphatic system, which is the body’s natural draining system. The laser causes a coagulation of blood capillaries. This reduces the subsequent side effects like swelling and bleeding. The laser also makes the skin shrink and tighten. Each session will take about 45 minutes.
Are There any Side Effects?
Smart lipo has no major side effects. Minor bruises seen in some patients clear after 48 hours. Swellings will subside within 24 hours. Compression garments can be used to speed up the recovery process. Painkillers can also be used in case of discomfort. The results are best seen after two months.
Who are the Candidates for Smart Lipo?
Any part of the body can have excessive fat. However, Smart Lipo is best for dissolving fat from restricted pockets. Healthy individuals who wish to remove localized pockets of fat from different areas of their bodies are advised to consider Smart Lipo. This procedure is not suited for persons with the following conditions: skin disorders, kidney problems, circulatory problems, diabetes, liver conditions and heart problems.
Which Body Parts Need Liposuction?
Fat deposits tend to be concentrated in the following areas: The hips, face, waist, pubic mound, and chin, nape of the neck, upper arms, thighs, buttocks, and men who have breasts.
What Makes this Procedure Superior to Other Procedures?
Smart lipo is painless and gives the least discomfort. Patients resume normal duties a day after a Smart Lipo. Bleeding is minimal during this procedure. Other procedures may leave the skin flabby but a Smart Lipo procedure tightens it. No sutures or incisions are made On the skin. Smart Lipo is used in cosmetics to traditional methods can not get rid of excess oil and remove the parts you can.

Most of us – whether be man or woman – are tired of passing each day attempting to shave or sitting through tough waxing sittings simply to get rid of ugly hair. It is a necessary – but it doesn’t make it any easier. That is why we are constantly on the lookout for better methods like laser removal.
This is a good method – but unluckily not everybody can use it. Why? For this technology to work on your body or to be more specific, your hair, you need to meet a couple of prerequisites. Below are some of the most crucial to consider. It is still best to speak with a dermatologist if you think that you are a prospect.
Do you have light skin and dark hair? Good! This implies that you are one of the better candidates for this method. Most lasers will not be effective on people with light hair or dark skin. It makes it challenging or nearly hopeless for the laser to get hold of the follicle – but will rather concentrate on the first dark matter it hits – your skin!
However, there are a couple of clinics that utilize newer lasers – which have mastered these problems. These are tricky to discover and can be more expensive so search a great deal to find them. There are still other prerequisites that people will need to fall under before they are able to be considered.
Individuals who have blonde, grey, or red hair will have a tougher time with the laser removal. The hair is rather fair that it makes it tough to reach the follicle as required. While the method might work for them they will find that they call for a good deal more sessions when equated to most other individuals.
Individuals who suffer from lupus, diabetes, or other skin conditions will not be a laser removal candidate. Anybody who has herpes will suffer from an outbreak induced by it. This is why it is significant to confer with a doctor before you have it done.

What is the Strawberry Laser System?
The machine used to carry out strawberry laser treatments is a Class 3B cold red laser device which means it can be used by therapists safely and it’s a non invasive procedure.
Laser Lipo was first introduced into the UK at the beginning of 2008. It’s a way of getting inch loss and body contouring with no pain, no needles it’s cheaper than other forms of Lipo treatments.
The treatment takes several stages – and the larger the area being treated the more steps it’ll take to cover the surface area. Before treatments measurements are taken.
Firstly Two large Diode Laser paddles are placed on the targeted fatty areas and secured with straps. After this two smaller probe lasers are placed just over the relevant lymphatic glands and fixed in place. The Laser Lipo BCS is activated for 10 minutes, relocated and then treats another area for 10 minutes. It is repeated until the area is covered.
After the treatment the area that has been treated is re-measured to how much inch-loss has been achieved. Over three measurement points you can see a difference of 0.5 and 3 inches.
To ensure the body can remove the broken down fat cells known as triglycerides it is necessary to increase the metabolic rate by taking some exercise. An effective and easy way of achieving this is to exercise. using a vibration plate machine for about 10 Minutes.
I call the beauty of the pool is used to treat. It is a large part of the body to reduce fat treatments can be used with any other. Treatment of the public portion of the abdomen, thighs, hips, back, baby belly "area and" hands bingo wing "area.

Losing weight certainly isn’t easy, and for many Americans, the entire process often seems like a never-ending and losing battle. The decision to lose weight isn’t as simple as just choosing a diet and buying a membership to the gym; if it were, virtually every American would be thin and in shape. Instead, it’s projected that by 2015, 80% of Americans will be either overweight or obese, including children.
Along with this frightening statistic, it seems impossible to turn on the television or open a magazine without being assaulted by a deluge of weight loss products, miracle pills, exercise contraptions, inspiring success stories, and shows about average people who decided to get off of the couch and into a healthier lifestyle. As a country, Americans know that it’s time to shape up before we start to see irreparable damage as a consequence of decades of a junk-food-filled, sedentary lifestyle. However, very few seem to know exactly how best to accomplish this dramatic change.
One of the problems that is discouraging to many dieters is that even after the extra pounds start to disappear, the body doesn’t necessarily cultivate the lean and toned look that television, magazines, and even doctors promise. After spending months working up a sweat in the gym and living on whole-wheat and turkey sandwiches, most people want to see the results of their labor. The reality that stubborn cellulite and unwanted fat deposits may still be present, and may in fact be more noticeable as a result of weight loss, is enough to send many people running for the pepperoni pizza.
The problem stems from the fact that, as people age, fat deposits and cellulite become more resistant to diet and exercise, making it harder to achieve the ideal body even once hitting an ideal body weight. Typically, the solution to these issues has been surgical in nature; liposuction and tummy tucks usually provide that much-needed, if slightly painful, boost to a person’s appearance after weight loss.
Now, laser lipo has entered the scene, providing a minimally invasive procedure to those who want visible results without the discomfort and anxiety of surgery. Laser lipo works in a fairly natural fashion, targeting specific areas of the body affected by stubborn fat deposits or cellulite. Tiny incisions are made into the skin and fat cells are blasted with a laser, which causes them to liquefy and drain from Body. Stubborn body fat, ugly, painful or at the conclusion of a weak recovery time and a great option for many patients can be.

So you read about LVL (large volume liposuction with Smart Lipo) and want to know what it’s all about and if it can help you look better. That’s what liposuction is all about right? The answer is a big yes, large volume liposuction has a very dramatic effect on your body shape. You also need to know that this is not the quick in and out procedure that the typical liposuction is for the patient. You need to understand the risks before shopping around for this type of surgery.
It’s a fact that liposuction is the undisputed king of plastic surgery procedures it’s now the number one aesthetic surgical procedure performed around the world. Why? Because it works, it can totally change and sculpt the shape of your body into something more in line with the vision you have in your mind. As the general population has gained a few dress sizes over the years, plastic surgery is increasingly seen as a means to correct weight problems. Plastic surgeons have been also increasing the percentages of body volume (fat) they are willing to remove from their patients in one surgery.
Liposuction is best performed with the laser liposuction technique or what is also known as smart lipo. This is a combination of the tumescent technique where the surgeon will inject a saline solution which contains adrenalin and Lidocain which reduces the bleeding and then use a cannula with a laser that melts the fat cells resulting in a quicker surgery, less pain and bruising and most importantly better results for the patient. Laser liposuction also helps the skin retract to your new size, this along with along with multiple spa treatments after your surgery will help ensure you get the best results possible.
The American Society of Plastic Surgeons defines large volume liposuction as, more than 7 to 10% of the total body weight. For the average patient that means over 10 liters of fat. Be aware that this does not mean that you will lose 10% of your body weight in one surgery! This is a total weight loss due to fluids etc. To avoid complications it is absolutely critical to find a surgeon that has a lot of experience with doing large volume liposuction.
This procedure has produced some of the most impressive surgeries that I have ever seen, but needs to be approached with care. The doctor you choose will dictate the results you get completely. This is sculpture, as most clients seeking LVL are not near their ideal body weight, the surgeon cannot remove all the fat from all areas. He has to make choices as he goes along in the surgery as to where and how much to take off to give you the best results. That is sculpture, make no mistakes about it! Choose your surgeon carefully, look at their before and after pictures to get a feel for his style of sculpting and if it fits your goals.
